Sosian Ranch is the quintessential Laikipia experience — an 80,000-acre working ranch that doubles as one of Kenya’s finest safari properties. The horseback safaris here are the best in East Africa, riding among elephant herds and reticulated giraffe on the open plains. The accommodation in the old ranch homestead is traditional Kenya in the best sense — proper beds, good wine, and genuine character. Night drives, camel safaris, and walking are all available. The ranch borders several other conservancies meaning the landscape and wildlife range is enormous. Maximum eight guests.
