Nomad Tanzania Serengeti Safari Camp

The lodge About this lodge

Nomad Tanzania pioneered the mobile tented camp concept in the Serengeti and their Serengeti Safari Camp remains the gold standard. The camp shifts position three times per year to stay with the migration — southern calving grounds in January and February, central Seronera in the dry season, and the northern Mara River corridor from August to October. The classic East African under-canvas experience: spacious tents with proper beds, en-suite hot showers, gourmet bush cooking, and nights so quiet you can hear lions in the distance. Expert guides, superb food, and an authenticity that many larger lodges have lost.

Heading south again

The short rains begin and the herds turn back south across the eastern and central Serengeti, retracing the loop toward next season's calving grounds.
